The Plain Dealer reports Brian Robiskie signed a 4yr deal today and will be at practice Saturday, Aug 1st @ 8:30am.

Braylon Edwards Fails Physical

Yay. Once again Braylon manages to alienate himself from the fanbase with a mysterious no show, failed physical to start off the 2009 season. He has been placed on the Active/Non-Football Injury List, which means he can come back to practice/play at any time. Apparently he hurt his ankle playing basketball...

Browns sign 2nd round pick Massaquoi

According to ProFootballTalk.com, Massaquoi is getting a four-year contract that includes $1.863 in guaranteed money and a max value of $3.636 million. That leaves only Brian Robiskie unsigned from this year's draft class.

Cavs Shock World and Offer LeBron Extension...

The Cavs went ahead and offered the extension that everyone on planet Earth knew was coming - the maximum 3yr they are allowed to right now. LeBron has until June 30, 2010 to make a decision...

"We've talked to [agent] Leon Rose, but beyond that I don't really want to comment," Cavaliers general manager Danny Ferry said Monday.

Tucker to Retire?

Browns OT Ryan Tucker is contemplating retirement, according to the Northern Ohio News-Herald.

Tucker has battled hip and knee injuries of late and is reportedly wary of putting himself through the 16-game grind. He did indicate last month that he wants to play two more seasons, so we'd like to see confirmation of this report before placing too much stock in it.

Eric Steinbach is a Brown - 7yr, ~$49 Million, ~$23M Up Front

Wow. Steinbach just got PAID, but at least it was by the Cleveland Browns.

Per TheOBR.com:

The OBR is told that the deal is worth $49 million over seven years with $23 million in the first three years. We have also been told $17 million guaranteed.

No word yet on whether hes going to be LG, RT, or even maybe LT some are saying.

If only LeCharles could have played this year...
